Manager II, Commercial Strategy


Kroll is seeking a dynamic Commercial Strategy Manager within our global Commercial Operations Team to drive all aspects of business development support for critical multidisciplinary sales initiatives, with an emphasis on incremental lead generation arising from rapidly evolving market conditions. Responsibilities include organizing project plans, monitoring progress, ensuring quality, and managing relationships among clients and internal stakeholders. This flagship position will expand Kroll’s Commercial Strategy team into a new market. 

The Manager will be expected to lead by example and work collaboratively across service lines to achieve alignment in the pursuit of Kroll’s commercial goals. Our Commercial Strategists are analytical and creative in their approach to complex problems identifying the right solutions. The Manager will partner with sales leaders and other stakeholders to create paths to success by bringing innovative product and service offerings to life.

Through the development of new ideas from inception to solution, the Manager will ensure that project recommendations are practical, relevant, and cohesive. It’s a role that demands creativity at the strategic level – and command of all the technical and operational details of development and execution of business processes.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Drive strategic go-to-market plans and execution of thematic development and product launches, collaborating with different Kroll business units and industry-specific teams on customized content and distinct marketing campaigns directed to priority / target clients  In collaboration with practitioner and expert teams, lead the development and adoption of sales processes across Kroll  Sales support (Enterprise Sales and Key Account Managers): Create internal capabilities internally to best support sales teams and evangelize training and enablement of our sales teams Strategic analysis and reporting: Establish and track on KPIs at the enterprise and specific initiative level  Meeting leadership: Develop meeting material and drive resultant action items Client events and collateral: Along with Marketing team members, support the planning and execution of external client events

Essential Traits:

Minimum 5 years of work experience, ideally a leading business, digital, or strategy consulting firm Orchestrate complex agendas, align leadership, prioritizing activities and working across a matrixed organization to achieve results  Manage and execute projects efficiently; provide direct support to multiple activities, often requiring strong consulting skills (slides writing, effective communication, some analytics) Collaborate and communicate with various teams and individuals, with different level of seniority in different geographies and with diverse backgrounds Ability to quickly understand how different workstreams fit together in the larger picture; ability to provide guidance to senior leaders in line with how Kroll operates Experience with line management and/or scaling teams in a demanding environment highly desirable 

Secondary Skills/Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in English/Business/Management or equivalent experience  Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Salesforce desirable. Excellent written/spoken English with strong business writing

The current salary range for this position is $70,000 - $200,000.
