Overview:
This HR Field & Operations Manager III role will be the HR partner for the central region contract logistics warehouse sites. This position will have broad responsibility by working closely with managers and employees to solve concerns, manage employee and labor relations, deploy HR programs, policies, and serve as the HR ambassador for assigned locations. It is a business-facing role and heavily execution oriented. This position will foster partnerships across the region to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization.

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Talent Management:
Partners with site leadership on staffing needs and workforce planning. Manage recruiting efforts and coordinates all stages of the hiring process for region and supports recruiting strategies to attract and retain top talent. Leads talent reviews, succession management, organizational design, job design and leveling, leadership development, merit planning process and resource needs.Employee Relations:
Manage core human resource processes including labor and employee relations, compensation, benefits, and employee changes. Provides support and guidance to management when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, disciplinary actions, improvement plans and and terminations. Leads initiatives to foster positive employee relations, an engaged workforce, a positive culture, and effective communication throughout the warehouse by working collaboratively with leaders and hourly employees. Supports performance programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees such as PMT, individual development plans, and succession plans. Provide counsel to field operations issues related to employee discipline and reviews, and make recommendations on Corrective Actions, PIPs, termination decisions; provide follow-up as necessary. Investigates allegations of wrongdoing, responds to employee complaints, researching issues, and managing Hotline calls and responses. Partners effectively with the HR team, recruiters, CLS leadership, and corporate legal counsel.Compliance Management:
Knowledge of federal, state and local labor laws including wage, meal & rest breaks, time keeping standards, mandatory training, employee documentation. Audit and provide coaching guidance to warehouse leaders and teams. Understanding of leave of absence, Workers’ Compensation and related time off practiced. Provides guidance on the application and interpretation to managers and employees on policies and applied practices. Supports the communication and administration of company programs and policies. Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, human resources, talent management, and employment law.Other Duties:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience and education SPHR/PHR certification preferredPreferred Experiences
More than 10 years of HR business partner experience Previous multi-site experience High Level of oral and written communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate Extensive knowledge and experience in compliance and policies Experience with supporting all levels of the organization including executive, managerial, professional administrative and non-exempt Demonstrate the ability to be both strategic and tactical Demonstrated effective use of technology and proficiency with various HR systems and Microsoft office suite applications Preferred industry specific knowledge in 3PL / Supply Chain OrgCompetencies

The actual salary offer will take into account multiple factors including skills, experience, education and location. Please note that the salary details listed in role postings reflect the base salary only, not total compensation, which includes bonus and benefits.
