Available MIT Programs at Four Seasons Minneapolis:  

Food & Beverage MIT: A rotational program that will include a minimum of three rotations across our Food & Beverage outlets 

 

Essential Functions: 

Assisting the F&B management teams in the training, supervising, counselling.  

Supervising the floor during meal periods to ensure that all standards and sequence of service are met through all the guests’ interactions. 

Ensuring that checklist, requisitions, and proper opening and closing functions are completed each shift.  

Communicating effectively with guests and employees using a positive voice.  

Listening to understand requests, responding with appropriate actions, and providing accurate information.  

Remaining calm and alert especially during emergency situations, heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for the staff and other employees.  

Moving throughout the facility and kitchen area (walk through) to visually monitor and take action to ensure food quality and service standard are met.  

Ensuring that all the standards and hotel cash handling procedures are met. 

Maintaining cleanliness of the outlet daily.  

Working closely with the Assistant/Manager in monthly inventory beverages, chinaware, glasses, silverware, and linen.  

Assisting in planning and setting up special events at Easter, Christmas, etc.  

Ensuring maintenance of equipment by calling for repair and training staff on proper use.  

Supporting the entire Food and Beverage operation including supervising other areas if necessary.  

Assisting management team with scheduling, labor management, payroll 

 

 

Are you ready to embark on a career like no other? Here is what we are looking for! 

Upcoming or recent graduate from a Hospitality Management post-secondary program an asset. (However, graduates from all disciplines will be considered) 

Minimum one to two years’ experience within the hospitality or service industry 

Ability to demonstrate leadership experience through work, extra curriculars and/or studies 

Passion to grow and develop within the industry and Four Seasons brand 

Strong communication skills (English), and additional spoken languages considered an asset
