Manages the deployment and execution of controls and defenses to ensure the security of company technology, information systems and technology based payment systems.

Responsibilities:
Implements and maintains security protocol (standards and criteria) for critical systems and operational policiesMaintains team and staff adherence to appropriate standards for hardware, software, email and web firewall, access and encryption requirementsManages execution of security breach test plans and remediation plans with team and businessGuides and develops team and business to understand company policies and market trends to ensure the efficient operation of the functionPartners with internal and/or external parties to address current and potential security issuesEncourages cooperation among and provides guidance to team members
Qualifications:
Minimum requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Security Engineering8+ years of experience with prior IT or equivalent discipline with at least 2 years of management/supervisory experienceRequired knowledge of ISO 27001 security framework and Vulnerability managementMust have experience with the security framework within Google, Azure and AWSMust have experience managing a team of up to 5 staff members in a global environment.Must be fluent in both English and Spanish (written and verbal)Preferred Requirements:Advanced degree preferredFamiliarity with containerized compute environments (docker, Kubernetes)Familiarity Security tools (orca, CrowdStrike, nucleous) and JiraCertification of ISO 27001 security framework is a great plus
