Are you a strategic leader with expertise in IT vendor management and asset optimization? We’re seeking a dynamic Manager to lead our Vendor & Asset Management Office, driving cost savings, compliance, and operational efficiency in IT software acquisitions and vendor partnerships.
You are responsible for:
+ Leading and coaching the Vendor & Asset Management Office team.
+ Overseeing IT vendor partnerships to reduce costs and optimize services.
+ Managing software acquisitions, license compliance, and renewals.
+ Leading contract negotiations, RFx events, and resolving vendor issues.
+ Driving financial efficiency through budgeting, forecasting, and cost-saving initiatives.
+ Enhancing asset management processes and IT governance practices.
+ Collaborating with Supply Chain, Legal, and IT teams on strategic contracts.

Minimum Requirements
Manager Information Technology | Vendor & Asset Management Office
+ BS in Computer Science, Business or related degree or equivalent work experience.
+ AND eight to ten (8-10) years progressively responsible related experience in area/s of assignment is required to obtain an advanced understanding of information and/or communication systems, operating systems, network communications, equipment and infrastructure.
+ Demonstrated leadership skills required.
+ Previous supervisory experience preferred.
+ Demonstrated high quality oral, written and presentation communication skills, high quality interpersonal and people management skills, and demonstrated experience in project management.
+ Extensive experience in the development, integration, and support of information and communication systems applications, distributed and mainframe environments, network architecture and sub-systems, distributed and mainframe server architectures cross platform interfaces.
+ Extensive experience in information systems methodologies, systems guidelines & architectures, and technologies.
Major Accountabilities
+ Driving and supporting the implementation of, and management of IT vendor management processes aligned with Supply Chain best practices.
+ Leads and develops individuals and teams by using people management processes and tools that involve staffing, training, supervising, coaching, and performance management.
+ Establish and maintain strong partnerships with business units and vendors, participating in IT contract development and evaluations to identify potential issues and risks.
+ Lead the negotiation and administration of software purchases, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements and managing renewals effectively.
+ Oversee the management of entitlement records, license agreements, and maintenance contracts, ensuring that all IT assets are accurately tracked and maintained.
+ Ad-hoc analysis displayed through financial dashboards / metric trending to allow decision makers to see the impacts of different decisions / scenarios and allow them to act in a proactive manner to resolve / mitigate possible risks.
+ Other duties as assigned that support the overall IT organization or the Office of the CIO.
