The **Manager Infrastructure** is a first level manager that oversees the daily and long-term management of software and certain technology-related hardware within the organization. This role will be responsible for managing and leading a team of IT professionals to ensure the reliability, security, and optimal performance of the organization's IT infrastructure. **Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:** + Maintain End Point Management and IT Service Management applications for the enterprise. Manage technical personnel supporting BU specific server environments, middleware, and databases. Monitor all tickets to ensure appropriate action has been taken. + Support a geographically dispersed business community. + Lead, mentor, and manage a team of infrastructure professionals. + Leverage existing and new technology to provide recommendations and insight into technology roadmap and process management. + Manage the implementation and maintenance of hardware, software, and network infrastructure. + Ensure systems are properly configured, updated, and maintained for optimal performance. + Using thorough understanding of overall business functions and related applications, design IT architecture supporting each function with the ability to bring teams together to achieve the common goal when needed. + Coordinate with internal shared services groups and third-party vendors to ensure supporting servers, active directory services, collaboration software, data center management, and related systems are running efficiently and effectively for the business unit. + Perform other duties as needed. **Required Experience and Education:** + Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. + 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. + 1-3 years of management experience. + At least one certification in Asset Management is desired. + Must have advanced knowledge of database and spreadsheet manipulation (MS Excel and MS Access/SQL). + Inventory management experience and Cost Center experience are preferred. **Competencies:** + Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field. + Focused on and responsible for their team's productivity and collective impact. + Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills. + Able to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively. + High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. + Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products. + Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once. + High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures. **Other Pertinent Job Information:** + This employee will be responsible for direct reports.
