The Opportunity  

This position works out of our Wiesbaden location in the Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology. 

Your Tasks:

Coordinate business planning cycles’ consolidation for EMEAP, LATAM and APACPrepare IBP/LBE Deck and other deliverables for International marketsPrepare and follow up IBP minutes for International Markets and support countries/regions on their commercial priority requestsBe the point of contact for Global, regions and affiliates on business planning cycles’ deliverables, establish alignment and collaboration between EMEAP, LATAM and APACFollow up and support commercial priorities/requests with relevant stakeholders between Global, regions and affiliatesProvide appropriate strategic recommendations that improves effectiveness of our core business planning processes and create synergies in between regionsEstablish strong communication within Area, Global and Affiliates to drive best practices on core business planning processesUnderstand major strategies for the Area and Affiliates, serve as a link between International Markets, Global and AffiliatesCollaborate with Finance, commercial and other relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration with the financial forecasting processesProactively identify, develop and lead rollout of new tools, systems and processes to simplify and improve commercial effectiveness and analytics

Your Qualification:

Graduate university level education – preferably in business/scientific-related disciplines. Master’s degree is a plusPrevious Integrated Business Planning/project management or consulting experience is a plusMin 5 years of previous experience, preferably within the medical device or pharmaceutical industryStrong analytical skills: ability to analyze data from a wide range of internal and external sources and translate these into powerful insightsStrong ability to build relationships and work in a team to establish trust and exercise influence with internal clients and other key stakeholdersCan manage upstream and downstream with equal confidence through very good interpersonal communication skillsCapability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment to deliver on communicated timelines and objectivesFluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of a second language is desirable
