The Internal Audit department helps Hawai‘i Pacific Health accomplish its mission by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve financial and operational risk management, control and governance. The department staff provides independent, objective assurance designed to evaluate the organization’s internal control structure and make recommendations for improvements. As the Internal Audit Manager, you will assist with all aspects of the organization’s internal audit function, including the update of the annual audit plan, risk assessment process and performing various financial and operational audits. You will also prepare, communicate and assist with follow up procedures for audit findings and recommendations to the Director of Internal Audit, and manage the department’s support staff. Five (5) years of progressive operations experience in fields of accounting or auditing. Professional certification including, but not limited to, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Health Care Internal Auditor Professional (CHIAP), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).Valid driver's license and abstract. Current Hawai’i auto insurance. **Preferred Qualifications:** Master’s degree in Accounting (MAcc) or related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Internal audit experience, knowledge of health care industry. Previous supervisory and/or project management experience.
