LOCATION: Hazleton Distribution Center
POSITION SUMMARY: The Manager of Inventory Integrity is responsible for the proactive strategy and leadership of the Distribution Center Inventory team ensuring accuracy, customer service and operational standards and controls are met in an efficient, innovative manner. The Manager collaborates with internal distribution center and corporate leadership, consultants and 3rd parties to develop and implement best practice inventory solutions in support of AEO’s financial and supply chain goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure seamless integration of the inventory function with cross-functional partners; DC Operations, Asset Protection, Vendor Compliance, DC Systems Support and Supply Chain Planning creating alignment in execution and issue resolution Manage and coach team members for growth and development, set team direction, goals and objectives based on priorities; Hold team accountable to standards and expected performance metrics Improve overall facility inventory integrity and accuracy metrics, including Location, Net and Absolute inventory unit adjustments and accuracy rate Develop and deliver inventory analysis to identify, inform and guide decision making; recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data, summarizing results and presenting findings/actions with the appropriate audience Review and analyze inventory adjustments as needed; validating shrink and reconciliation stores Resolve, review and investigate errors providing resolution of open items with a focus on developing procedures to effectively reduce future issues and leverage learnings across other AEO DCs for best-practice sharing Serve as a subject matter expert to provide point of view to the Operations team on matters of inventory control while understanding the priorities of the operation Support and lead project teams, working cross-functionally, managing resources to drive current and new department initiatives and efficiencies to a successful, on-time delivery Represent Inventory needs in the development & implementation of new system improvements and enhancements Other duties and projects as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience Three years management experience in a distribution center, warehouse, retail or related environment Strong analytical, prioritizing and problem solving skills Demonstrated professional communication, collaboration and presentation skills Proven ability to coach, mentor and develop direct reports Self motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline oriented environment Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management High degree of proficiency in MS Office or Google Suite and internet applications Ability to travel as necessary to the corporate office in Pittsburgh, PA or other Distribution/Fulfillment Center locations Must live within a commutable distance of Hazleton, PA and be willing to work in the distribution center at least 3 days per week PAY/BENEFITS INFORMATION: Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
