Demand Planning and Merchandise Deployment
1. Development of product segment wise forecast of sales on a rolling basis to plan for inventory build-up
2. Preparation and Monthly Sign-off on rolling quarter sales and production planning with the SLT team
3. Inputs and Recommendation on Annual Sales and Inventory Budget planning for all FG stocks
4. Product segment wise planning of merchandise investment to drive strategic initiatives such as Wedding segment and Hero Markets
5. Aggregate store Norm finalisation and Cascade to regional sales teams for all L1/L2 stores
6. Finalisation of Category-Price Band wise investment for all product groups
7. Periodic Review and course correction of norms
8. Planning and timely indent placement to drive availability for all seasonal/activation requirements

Availability of right merchandise mix at all stores
1. Availability of adequate and relevant merchandise at all times to ensure:
a) Right product mix is maintained at all stores
b) Alignment to the firmed up norms
c) Focus on specific interventions such as Key Value Indicators and market specific hero categories
2. Review and deployment of Merchandise for specific interventions such as Exhibitions, Mela and Roadshow
3. Deployment of Wild card investments along with regional sales team to tap into potential of specific markets/product segments
4. Anchor first assortment planning process for all New stores and ensure availability of right mix at the time of launch
5. Review and plan for increase in Distribution of High Margin product lines in specific markets along with category team
6. Plan, Review and approve OTB limits for all category price bands
7. Handle and ensure In-season stock management by ensuring availability of relevant products across all markets
8. Planning and deployment of New Product replenishment buffers with emphasis on Ad variants

Productivity of Merchandise Investments
1. Adherence of actual inventory to overall Inventory Budget on a monthly basis
2. Review and action planning for store wise inventory performance to reduce dispersion in Turns across clusters
3. Periodic finalisation and review of SKU List for building Aggregated Central buffers to enable pull based daily replenishment
4. Dynamic Planning and Deployment of SKU wise cover to minimize stock outs
5. Deployment of Central buffers to address specific business problems
6. Drive Process improvements to increase share of consumer facing inventory
7. Drive process improvements to reduce idle inventory in the system across all FG bins including MTO products
