In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024, with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.

We are seeking a skilled and hands-on lead information architect to join our team. This role is responsible for designing and implementing efficient content management and information architecture strategies and to lead our Technical Content and Automation team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with DITA-OT and XSLT and will be responsible for managing the technical writers' authoring and publishing pipeline on DITA CCMS. This role also involves creating custom plugins, enhancements, identifying and developing productivity tools, automation and organization metric dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee structuring, organizing and managing of the digital information to enhance content usability, accessibility and manage technical writers' authoring and publishing pipeline on DITA CCMS preferably IxiasoftCreate and maintain information architecture, taxonomy, metadata and structure content frameworks to support content reuse, consistency and accessibilityDevelop and maintain custom plugins and enhancements using DITA-OT and XSLTWork closely with cross functional teams and stakeholders to understand content needs and business requirements translating them into scalable IA solutionsIdentify and implement productivity tools, automation and organization metric dashboards using Python, JavaScript, Web2Py, power BI and other relevant technologiesDevelop and implement content strategies that align with business goalsPartner with UX/UI and developers to create seamless user experienceFoster a collaborative and innovative team environmentLead a team of content strategists, and software developers providing guidance and support to deliver to business goalsProvide regular performance feedback and support professional development

In addition to the qualifications listed above, the ideal candidate will also have: 

Ability to navigate complex organizational structures and influence decision-making.Experience deploying software programs and the ability to leverage the latest best practices and methodologies.Excellent leadership, communication, analytical and project management skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExperience in developing organizational metric dashboard and creating interactive collateral
Qualifications

You must possess the below minimum education requirements and minimum required qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Relevant experience can be obtained through schoolwork, classes, project work, internships, and/or military experience. Additional preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:  

Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 6+ years of experience, or PhD with 4+ years of experience in either Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or STEM-related field.9+ years of experience in technical content management with a focus on DITA-OT and XSLT4+ years of experience with Ixiasoft CCMS, including creating custom plugins

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US $177,239.00-$283,471.00
