We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Learning and Development

In this role you will:

Implement Learning Strategy - Work with HSBC Technology India Learning Talent Development CoE as a Learning Consultant to help the team define and implement sustainable, strategic learning initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analytics Reporting - Lead data analysis to drive advanced understanding of learning consumption and maintain reports on learning consumptionDesign, develop and deliver end-to-end learning solutions to support HSBC colleagues develop leadership, behavioral capabilities to meet the business outcomesManage process related to the tracking learner compliance with mandatory/recommended learning requirements and onboarding trainingsEnsure HSBC policies, programs, and guidelines are followed and manage exemptions/exceptions, as neededParticipate in or lead learning project teams to build positive, collaborative partnerships among business stakeholders, SMEs and peersProvide functional area expertise to identify, research and resolve complex problemsExecute and operationalize development programs and processesUse learning measurement and analytics to assess program efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring that all key learning metrics are measured, published, and leveraged for decision making.Ensure practices and procedures are adhered to and training materials remain compliant with HSBC and regulatory standardsMonitor progress made by the learners to achieve required proficiency in line with the desirable resultsDrive strategic learning initiatives that support the HTI business strategy and streamline processes, management information (MI), and reports for audit preparednessAct as a performance improvement consultant around analyzing needs, Solutioning and executing strategy focused on building leadership capabilities across roles within the businessDevelop and sustain a high touch learning culture and enable a consistent approach towards developmentManage LD investment through effective planning, budgeting, forecasting, and vendor managementUse learning measurement and analytics to assess program efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring that all key learning metrics are measured, published and leveraged for decision makingOversee the delivery of Tech India learning and capability development programs through collaboration with Tech Academy and core COE teamsLeverage deep relationship with key business leaders and develop a strong understanding of business needs and strategic priorities to provide effective service deliveryAct as a learning consultant and manage key stakeholder relationships across business verticals and locationsBuild trusting relationship within team and outside, contribute to building a positive and nurturing team cultureBuild strong and deep relationships with internal and external stakeholdersSupport the LTD Lead in the dissemination and monitoring of the team’s BAU assignments as well as track and drive the completion of tasks, projects deliverablesEnsure the timely and accurate updating, completion, submission, and maintenance of pertinent records, reports, trackers, and required management information using designated templates, data platforms, and the learning management systemCreate and submit quarterly training calendar to GP team in a timely manner. Publish calendar on time for business to enroll and participateDeploy HSBC University priority programs, Global Mandatory Trainings, DI Training within expected timelines

Qualifications – External

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

Bachelor’s degree, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).10-12 years of experience in LD, with a strong track record of establishing credibility and delivering resultsExposure to program design and content developmentProven Project / Change Management experience with a strong focus on deliveryStrong focus on internal staff development and driving process efficienciesGood analytical skills with ability to work under pressureAbility to make rational decisions and navigate through complex scenarios with minimal guidance or supervisionExcellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skillsStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanor with an ability to interact with diverse audiencesAbility to prioritize tasks, perform independently and work under strict guidelinesbility to make rational decisions and navigate through complex scenarios with minimal guidance or supervision
