The Opportunity

This position works out of our Abbott Park, IL location in the CHR Corporate Human Resources division.   

The Manager of Learning & Development will implement the organization's learning and development strategy so that the capabilities of employees meet the organization's current and future needs.

What You’ll Work On

Learning & Development Data Analytics and Metrics Reporting:Oversight, creation, and enhancements of global training dashboardsAnalysis of training metrics dataMaintenance of all metric systemsQuarterly and annual reporting of training metrics and ROI to organizationData reporting for Abbott’s sustainability metrics reporting and submissionsL&D Vendor Management Maintain all global contractsSet standards for contract management as a functionOversight of coordination and execution of SOW’s for Learning & Development organization Oversight of PO and SOW tracking and monitoring against spendCoordination and management of HR compliance processes for all vendorsCoordination and management of AI governance process for L&D vendors as required Host annual business review cycles with all vendors and facilitatorsL&D Budget In collaboration with Learning & Development Director, set annual plan and update quarterly forecastReview spend versus plan each month and report to team, update forecast as necessaryLearning & Development Platform MaintenanceSharepoint administration including Global Training Site, Training Registration Site, team SharePoint site, and customer facing platformsProcess Management & MaintenanceCollaborate with Learning & Development Director to create and execute a governance process and structure for all processes Manager is the lead for continuous improvement of process mapping including; annual review of processes, governance for changes, maintenance of all process documentation.  ProjectsOversight and project management of shared projects across Learning & Development

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required5-10 years experience requiredExperience in Learning & Development preferredStrong data analytics and storytelling skills requiredStrong Power Bi skills/knowledge requiredKnowledge/interest in cloud data source connections preferredStrong project management skills requiredStrong stakeholder management skills requiredStrong supplier management skills preferredExperience in leading and managing others, especially in a matrixed environmentStrong communication skills and ability to influence others

The base pay for this position is $111,300.00 – $222,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
