MANAGER LEARNING SOLUTIONS WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? Leads a team of Learning Design and Compliance Analysts who collaborates with the business to understand learning priorities for City National Bank (CNB). Leads a team that designs, curates and implements learning solutions in alignment with identified priorities. Accountable to provide strategic oversight and compliance for the design and development of all learning solutions, communication and change management plans as well as evaluation strategies for City National Bank. What you will do Learning Solutions Management and Leadership. Manage an efficient and effective Learning Design, and Analyst Group and maintain a strategic view to evolving the function based on business needs. Provide strategic oversight to the vision and strategy for the design of all learning solutions and guidance on complex projects and evaluation strategies. Oversee communication and change management strategies for design project implementations and provide counsel on complex implementation plans and regulatory standards. Proactively initiate and support key strategic initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Learning Design function, resulting in improved business outcomes and learner experience(s). Lead with a skills-based approach to build employee capabilities and drive targeted learning solutions for the business. Measure results of learning activities in alignment with Learning KPI’s and a drive for continuous improvement and compliance. Effective Project Management skills. Proactively manage work volumes for team members based on business requirements, priorities, and individual skills and capacity to ensure balance workloads, timely project delivery, and optimal team performance. Forecast and manage resource demand, provide status updates and manage business partner expectations. Consult on learning solutions, complex design plans and the integration of innovative learning technologies to address business challenges, enhance skill development, and improve overall organizational performance. Cross-department Collaboration with team members, peers and stakeholders to ensure consistent application of processes and best practices to promote efficiency and effectiveness as well as regulatory requirements. People Management and Leadership. Establish and maintain routines for work assignments, feedback, coaching and team updates and provide focus, leadership and direction to team members. Lead and coach a high performing team of professionals to deliver against business priorities through the solicitation of performance feedback from stakeholders to support the growth and development of on team members. Identify opportunities to expand team member’s capability, stretch potential and build a growing pipeline of talent. Advance the design team’s capability to push creative limits and adopt new modalities/approaches to design high-quality, impactful learning solutions. Must-Have* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 5+ years experience leading diverse teams 2 years leading a solutions/instructional design team 2 years experience leading teams through transformation and change Skills and Knowledge Formal Instructional Design certification Experience developing and implementing informal and formal learning strategies and projects within a large, complex corporate environment. Experience building and implementing frameworks and governance models Experience in implementing a large volume of learning solutions projects within an M&A or regulatory environment. Ability to drive results through others Experience driving the mitigation of risk in a highly regulated organization, utilizing a robust risk management framework. Experience executing process design and implementation Experience in corporate matrixed organizations, preferably within financial services Compensation Starting base salary: $101,231 - $172,355 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
