Demonstrates understanding and adheres to the KCS principles of Employee Engagement, Operational Excellence, Safety & Security, and Economic Performance Drives administration of the company's leave of absence programs, including Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Small Necessities Leave Act (SNLA), Mass Parental Leave Act (MPLA), Short term, Long term and Railroad disability Manages all COVID-19 tracking and reporting of employees, and communicates with both employees and managers as it relates to COVID-19 Ensures all leave requests follow company leave policies and are within compliance under federal and state guidelines; the company bargaining agreements; and with the Americans with Disabilities Act Monitors employees leave periods; identifies patterns, issues or concern and coordinates with employees, departments, HR Management, short term disability vendor, Department of Labor, and the Railroad Retirement Board; Consults with Director of Compensation and Benefits to determine if escalation or guidance from internal Legal/Labor-Relations and/or Equal Employment Opportunity departments is required Counsels and educates employees and managers on Leave of Absence policies and procedures Establishes and maintains relationships with Benefit vendors; partners with vendors on employee issues Updates Employee Leave status in the HRIS system and Hastus system Generates monthly leave reports, and ad-hoc as required for various departments upon request Assists with company-wide wellness program initiatives and communications Supports annual benefits open enrollment and assists with benefits communications Provides professional, consistent, and responsive support services across the Keolis Commuter Service organization to deliver high quality customer service Promotes the use of the process approach and risk-based thinking Ensures processes within their functional areas of the business are controlled and constantly improved Completes other duties as assignedAdditional Statements:
