To support our Legal Technology / Legal Operations initiatives, we are looking for a Manager Legal Operations (f/m/d) at our headquarters in Heidelberg.
Together with colleagues from the Digital Law, Procurement & Legal Operations team, you will primarily provide expertise in our digitalization initiatives.
This will involve close collaboration with our digital product developers, external providers, and the Group Legal & Compliance team.
The position is located in Heidelberg, Germany and you will report directly to the position Head of Digital Law, Procurement & Legal Operations.
YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE
Analyze and optimize work processes and interfaces within the Group Legal & Compliance department and other functional departments
Provide professional support for projects aimed at identifying and implementing digital solutions (including GenAI) to optimize internal workflows and processes
Manage and further develop existing tools within the Group Legal & Compliance department (e.g. global contract and document management tool, policy management tool, reporting tool)
Support the implementation of internal processes to ensure legal requirements are met in business operation.
Develop data framework to drive decision-making, identify trends and measurable outcomes that align with organizational goals and support continuous improvement
Design and implement reporting and dashboards to provide actionable insights and support strategic planning
Leverage predictive analytics to enhance decision-making processes
Develop and conduct internal trainings in the aforementioned areas
Provide technical support to internal users as needed
YOUR PROFILE
Experience in structuring and optimizing workflows and processes
Ideally, legal background and relevant professional experience in Legal Operations, Legal Technology or digitalization of legal functions
Programming skills are not required but considered a plus. You are capable of combining your technical expertise with an understanding of legal work.
Enjoy taking responsibility with project work and accustomed to working in diverse teams
Digital native with a willingness to collaborate cross-departmentally in agile teams
Openness to new technical and legal developments, as well as the willingness to familiarize yourself with unfamiliar planning, collaboration, and communication tools
Fluent English skills, knowledge of German language is advantageous, but not a must
