As the Logistics Manager in support of production areas, you will hold an important role in the Hagerstown Plant Organization. You will report directly to a second line managerial level referred to as a Logistics Area Manager. You will support the short and mid-term success of the function and the plant. The Logistics organization has approximately 200 employees today. Main activities and responsibilities for these roles • Manage your Logistics organization against set safety, quality, delivery and financial targets by leading and coaching your team • Continue the implementation of Volvo Performance System (VPS), which means to implement standardized ways of working, develop the organization and achieve contribution from all employees • Full accountability and ownership of your team’s development, UAW relations, project follow up, midterm road map (0-1 year) and policy deployment from plant to operator level **Who are you?** **Critical competencies and experience** + We are looking for a goal-oriented leader with a strong drive to deliver and have the ability to continually develop and improve the organization and its employees. For this position, the base salary range is set at $93,585-$115,605, and where applicable, bonus eligible. The range for this role, as well as final salary offered, is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, work-related knowledge, certifications, skills, education, and experience.
