Department Overview

India SCHIL market supply chain team, manages planning, customer care and logistics with distribution Spend – ~6ME, and network of 15 DCs, ~3500 Customers.

Direction & GBU: Supply Chain Management

Geographical Remit of Role: One or Multiple Region

Location (based out of): HO / Region Office

Report to: Lead Logistics (Warehousing and Last Mile Transport)

External: DC 3PL Partners, Vendors, Distributors

Purpose

Responsible for the Logistics Operation & Projects for one or multiple regions while ensuring compliance to group norm, drive cost efficient 3PL DC operation, ensure compliance to Internal Control & Audit, Quality & HSE policies, Regulatory requirement, Local Legislations and Implementation of Good Distribution Practices.

Ensure compliance to Internal controls & audits, GDP, DTC, HSE, Security and Quality policies.Implement tools & process for periodic               monitoring.Support to Quality and HSE teams

Implement projects to ensure right DC and Last mile capacity, capability.Drive projects on sustainability.Implement projects on infrastructure, operation compliance.

Pre-requisites

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies / Language

Knowledge of Good Distribution Practices, HSE and Regulatory requirements, Local legislations with hands-on experience of SAP and Excel. Exposure to Customer Care.Ensure Internal Control and Audit compliance.Team player with ability to collaborate and work on transversal projects.Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.Process orientation, project management and continuous improvement skills.Fluency in Written & Spoken English and Hindi.

Qualifications 

Graduate (Pharmacy / Science / Engineering preferred)5-7 years of experience with 1-2 yrs in Planning, Logistics and Customer CareWorking knowledge of SAP is desirable and demonstrated ability to work in Excel.Cross functional, technology, projects experience preferred.

Any other requirements of the job 

Should have the ability to undertake activities of various nature and should have a multitasking attitude.Position requires frequent travel within the region.The incumbent to be available on call anytime basis the urgency of the situation.Position will suit an individual who is able to operate with discretion and confidentiality about sensitive data.Should be able to take transversal roles within Supply Chain function
