Context/Scope ObjectiveThe role primarily entails the management of Logistics Projects, Optimizationand Improvements for Pan India Inbound and Outbound Logistics. Qualifications and Experience Required

Qualifications - Engineer and a post Graduate degree in Operations / Supply-chain / Manufacturing from Tier 1 B School.

Experience

Experience in Logistics, Operations,  Planning in Supply Chain.2-6 years of experience in FMCG or related industryProficiency in using Logistics ToolsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Experience with process improvement methodologies is a plus (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

Key AccountabilitiesTruck LoadabilityDrives Loadability (Truck capacity utilization) to > 95% for Inbound as well as outboundDetailed Assessment / Route cause of low loadability by lane / by channel etc. and drive the action items to improve loadability to >95%Implement right truck types to ensure high loadability and reduce per case fright cost

Logistics Project Management

Identify Key Improvement Opportunities in Logistics & WarehousingComplete responsibility to drive all Logistics & warehousing related projects.Define Projects with clear deliverables and timelinesDrive and deliver projects to completion as per agreed objectivesAccountabilities Transport Management System (TMS) Management and Logistics DigitizationComplete accountability to ensure adherence to TMS processesAccountable to ensure adherence to TMS usage for Inbound as well as outboundEnsuring breakages are within control and managed using systemsOn time payment to transportersDrive TMS upgradations as per business needsDrive Digitization in Logistics Identify, key needs, system requirements and lead implementation.Logistics Analytics and InsightsAnalyse logistics data to recommend and implement improvementsLogistics Performance Monitoring and Management On time truck placement PartialCoordinate with LSPs to ensure truck placements for timely delivery of goods and materialsMeasure Truck Placement performance
