Manages a team of maintenance employees with different disciplines. Coordinates schedules and workflow for the team who repairs and conducts preventative maintenance activities throughout the facility. Supervises day-to-day work of maintenance employees. May manage vendor relationships for trash removal, grounds, power, janitorial, water/sewer, HVAC and other related contracts. Ensures compliance with OSHA regulations.Overview:
Work closely with Factory team and implement robust Breakdown , Preventive and Predictive maintenance to the plant machineryPlant Utility Maintenance with timely servicing , AMC & CalibrationsStrong focus on Automation projects along with Process engineering and production and develop soft automations inline with Industry 4.0Line Automation and Programming and servicing of PLC .Responsibilities :-
Work closely with Factory team and implementRobust Breakdown , Preventive and Predictive maintenance to the plant machineryTPM Practices to ensure Zero BreakdownsEnergy Savings ProjectsNoise Level Reduction ProjectsLine Automations ( Soft Automation)Responsible for machine classification ( ABC ) and spares Management for critical machine and utilitiesResponsible for implementing TPM PracticesStrong focus on Digital factory and Industry 4.0Estimate costs on equipment, systems and structures repair or replacementImprove machine P.D.R ( Performance , Durability & Reliability )Effective participation in Continuous Improvement Culture ( Kaizen , 5’S Improvement )Understanding how to read blueprints and system schematicsSafety Compliance:Ensure compliance with safety regulations, standards, and best practices during all phases of the installation process. Implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize risks to personnel, equipment, and the surrounding environment.Failure Mode Analysis:Perform failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to identify potential failure modes of critical equipment and assess their impact on production operations. Develop mitigation strategies and preventive measures to address high-risk failure modes.Equipment Reliability Assessment:Assess the reliability and performance of equipment based on breakdown metrics, mean time between failures (MTBF), mean time to repair (MTTR), and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Identify opportunities for improvement to enhance equipment reliability and availability.Maintenance Optimization:Analyze breakdown data to optimize maintenance strategies and practices. Determine the most effective maintenance approaches, such as preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, or condition-based maintenance, to reduce the frequency and impact of equipment breakdowns.Spare Parts Management:Evaluate spare parts usage and availability to ensure adequate stock levels for critical equipment components. Implement inventory management strategies to optimize spare parts inventory and minimize stockouts during breakdown events.Must Have Skills :
Mechanical , Electrical & Automation Skills :
Proficiency in mechanical systems and machinery operation.Knowledge of mechanical components such as bearings, gears, shafts, and couplings.Ability to perform mechanical repairs, adjustments, and alignments.Understanding of electrical systems, circuits, and wiring diagrams.Knowledge of electrical components such as motors, relays, switches, and fuses.Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform electrical repairs.Control Systems Skills:Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and their programming languages (e.g., ladder logic).Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting control systems for automated machinery.Understanding of sensors, actuators, and feedback control systems.Knowledge of industrial instrumentation devices such as pressure transmitters, flow meters, and temperature sensors.Ability to calibrate and maintain instrumentation equipment for accurate measurement and control.Experience with automation technologies such as robotics, conveyor systems, and automated material handling equipment.Ability to program and troubleshoot automation systems for efficient operation and integration with manufacturing processes.Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems used in manufacturing machinery.Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic components, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and actuators.Familiarity with predictive maintenance techniques such as vibration analysis, thermal imaging, and oil analysis.Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data from predictive maintenance sensors and systems to identify early signs of equipment failure.Knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices in a manufacturing environment.Ability to conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.Basic machining skills such as drilling, milling, turning, and grinding.Ability to use manual and CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machining equipment for precision machining tasks.Experience with equipment installation, setup, and commissioning in a manufacturing environment.Ability to read equipment manuals, technical drawings, and specifications forLean Tools knowledge and implementation skillsFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.
