To Lead and Develop Sesto MRP Buyers teamTo primarily focus on Material Availability identifying and executing the correct purchasing strategiesTo be a key partner for Procurement for Supplier Relationship ManagementTo be a key point of contact for the Global Material Team and External ManufacturingTo contribute and support to the execution of the Supply Chain Transformation agendaTo continue to standardize and converge into Supply Chain archetypesMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / RESPONSABILITA’ PRINCIPALI
Support transformation projects across all areas of supply chain including Supply Planning, logistics, distribution, and warehousing to modernize our supply chainUse knowledge of supply chain best practices, procedures, and technologies to identify areas of transformation opportunities and partner with IT to identify, design, and implement solutionsSupports Procurements in carrying over programs of exploration for new materials, suppliers, and processes to achieve the best possible quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and deliveryLead data analysis and development of supply chain policies to meet overall business objectivesLead the strategy to maintain optimum inventory levels to ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirementsEstablishes and lead quarterly reviews to make sure the proper levels of inventory are maintained to optimize stocks quantities, stock values and obsolescence levelsAnalyze the long-term manufacturing plan and identify problem areas that impact the delivery to commitmentIt is the first escalation point of contact with the Network to help rebalancing stocks and solve criticalities with the AffiliatesIt is the first point of scalations for exception communication and resolutionSupervise, evaluate and coach staff membersMaintain relationships and contributes to negotiations with suppliers supporting the local ProcurementAccountable for the Purchase supplies and materials according to specificationsManage Lilly Sesto relationship with the Network to help rebalancing stocks and solve criticalities with the AffiliatesEnsures that the company standard practices and procedures are followed in connection with all materials purchasesResponsible for maintaining a safe work environment, working safely and accountable for supporting all HSE Corporate and Site Goals.Contributes to the Business Plan (BP) prep by leading and collating information related to forecasts, scrap materials info, standard cost definitions support and any relevant info material-related to this processContributes to the E2E S&OP process by leading and collating the information related to forecasts of materials incoming, highlighting supply issues, and providing solutionsIn addition to those mentioned above, as assigned by supervisor/managerREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s Degree English fluentKnowledge of SAP R/3, APO, Excel, Trackwise, etcAPICS certification preferableDemonstrated ability to manage/own multiple tasks or projects simultaneouslyStrong oral and written communication, interpersonal skillsFundamental understanding of Supply Chain basicsStrong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to work in a Team environmentProblem solving, good attitude, results orientedWhat we offer:
