Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
Support and drive sustainability focused materials programs (e.g. development and implementation of traceability related processes, policies and systems/tools) and ensure compliant execution for assigned geography and supply base ensuring adidas objectives are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Support global initiatives for creation of new adidas policies / Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and systems/tools (e.g. SMTT 2.0) in collaboration with internal and external parties Execute and be business key user for (new) materials traceability systems/tools, coordinate with other key users across the company and proactively provide apparel business insights and share local requirements of the assigned geography / supply base Drive local implementation of adidas initiatives (e.g. the Sustainable Material Traceability SOP and SMTT 2.0 tool), onboard internal and external stakeholders and provide trainings as well as guidance for related processes or systems/tools Monitor and analyse process and user performance for the assigned supply base, proactively identify issues, develop solutions with relevant stakeholders (incl. operations improvement plans, user trainings / communications, system enhancements, etc.) and drive implementation to improve performance Monitor supplier data input performance to ensure on time and in full data submission (accountable for related key performance indicators) Perform and coordinate onsite audits to secure compliant process execution and required data accuracy in traceability tool is achieved Develop a strong degree of knowledge in materials traceability processes, SOPs, tools/ systems to understand interdependencies to other processes/SOPs/systems in order to ensure alignment with the overall brand strategy and key objectives Facilitate best practice exchange and continuous improvement efforts proactively with Apparel Materials (Traceability) Managers in other regions and/or other relevant stakeholders Support and guide all system users on daily operation tasks, solve daily system operation issues Support other sustainability / materials initiatives as appropriate after traceability processes and systems/tools are running smoothly

Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication & negotiation skills Process thinking / end-to-end mindset Strong knowledge in Materials, Sustainability and Materials Traceability topics (incl. related documentation requirements, systems, etc.) Good understanding of supply chain mechanics (from raw materials to garment production) and brands (from sourcing to customer) preferably gained within Apparel industry Strong implementation and execution skills (incl. ability to create, plan and deliver Presentations, Workshops & Trainings) Fluent English, verbal and written Strong problem solving and analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data for reporting purposes Ability to work independently or with limited guidance Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
University degree in textile, supply chain management, industrial engineering or similar Minimum 5 years working experience, ideally in material sourcing or related field of Apparel Previous work experience in Testing Services Providers an advantage 1-2 years experience in project management (formal certification e.g. 6 Sigma, PMP an advantage) Solid operations expertise or experience in process management & KPI ownership
