We are looking for a dedicated Manager Network Operations Center like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** JOB SUMMARY Manage the enterprise network operations center (NOC) engineering staff and support for HCA’s enterprise network consisting of 8 Data Centers and 2400+ care provider locations. These responsibilities will require knowledgeable skill sets across enterprise level networking technologies, services and components. Position must keep abreast of the latest networking support, monitoring, and troubleshooting technologies so that the enterprise network is strategically enhanced to proactively meet the HCA customer/business requirements and maintain networking service levels. The position will manage approximately 8-12 staff team members and will be required to perform employee management/administrative duties: time/PTO reporting, interviews, employee evaluations/appraisals, yearly merit/performance increases/promotions, project/work assignments, employee development and training programs. Position will interact daily with the various IT&S departments including client support services, project management, business partners, vendors, data carriers, other IT&S staff/management and end users/customers on developing networking solutions that meet HCA’s business requirements with particular focus on the Regional Data Center networks and the overall Enterprise Wide Area Network. Excellent written and oral communications for presentations, technical white papers and networking proposals will be required. Problem management in-depth skills are required to effectively meet HCA business objectives and Service Level Agreements. Leadership skills are a must to maintain positive business relations with employees, customers, business partners, peers and other IT&S personnel. Effective delegation and management of resources and work requests are required to continually produce positive work results and meet business objectives/timelines. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following; • Manage a team of ~12 Network Engineers with a focus on operational support • Prioritize staff workloads, including incident response, change coordination, and proactive maintenance • Provide metrics and data analytics to better understand network impact, performance, and support workloads • Provide 24x7 management escalation • Lead technical support calls across technical disciplines • Focus on customer service to support to ensure end user satisfaction. • Contribute to strategic enterprise network planning and new technology assessment. • Communicate consistently with direct leadership and company leadership as to issues, concerns and/or potential road blocks that may occur. • Ensuring proposed/planned networking solutions meet business and strategic needs. • General understanding of Network and Network Security technologies Performs the above competences under Director level management general supervision. AREA OF EXPERIENCE Must be Experienced in: Data Networking Operations Technologies Cisco networking equipment, firewall and load balancing technologies Utilize various versions of NMS platforms / Microsoft Office Suite, plus Visio and MS Project / Excel. Business Objects, Splunk, or other reporting preferred BMC Remedy and CA Clarity knowledge preferred YEARS OF EXPERIENCE Must be Experienced in: 14 years experience in management, supervision, or technical leadership required 10 years IT experience / Experience managing vendors, contracts, project management, and technology procurement. / Proven ability to manage technology projects including new system development, installations, etc. required EDUCATION REQUIRED College graduate preferred SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS • Prior leadership in Network Operations preferred but not required. • Must be able to excel in a very close working team environment • High degree of self motivation • Excellent written and oral communication skills HCA Healthcare has been recognized as one of the World's Most Ethical Companies® by the Ethisphere Institute more than ten times.
