JR67208 Manager - NVE PE, TACTICAL IE (Evergreen)Job DescriptionThis is an outstanding opportunity to join Micron as a Manager - NVE PE, TACTICAL IE, where you will be at the forefront of driving our engineering operations. Based in Batu Kawan, you will have the chance to implement proven strategies that ensure outstanding execution and world-class performance in our tactical IE and inventory management. You will be strictly determined to identify risks ahead and successfully implement resolutions.
Your role will span across multiple materials, including Test Chip Vehicle (TCV), New Production Introduction (NPI), and High Volume Manufacturing (HVM). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including FAB, BE, PE, GSC, GQ, and BU to ensure smooth operations and alignment with our ambitious goals.
ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with FAB/BE/BU/TD/PE/GSC/GQ network to reach aligned decisions and provide tactical direction and communication.Maintain ongoing dialogue with local and global counterparts on deliverable priorities.Provide timely high–level updates to management on NPI/HVM/DIO/NRG status, issues, and recommendations.People ManagementDevelop team member performance by providing communication regarding job expectations and changes.Mentor and provide career development, establish goals, and supervise performance achievement.Conduct performance appraisals and provide continuous feedback to develop your team.Handle employee performance, resolve conflicts, and provide recognition.Build an effective team by prioritizing work, removing barriers, and promoting accountability.Lead team staffing and succession, distribute work and learning opportunities, and empower team members.Foster partnership across functional areas and customer groups.AI/ML/Automation ExpectationExperience in statistical modeling, feature extraction and analysis, and various supervised/unsupervised/semi-supervised learning methods.Ability to extract data from different databases via SQL and other query languages and apply data cleansing techniques.Proficiency in software development and industrialized projects.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Experience or willingness to learn machine learning and other advanced analytical methods.Proficiency in Python, R, pySpark, Hadoop, Teradata, Tensorflow, SSIS, ETL, Javascript, AngularJS 2.0, and Tableau.Experience with time-series data, images, semi-supervised learning, and MES or equivalent experience is a plus.RequirementBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Science or Engineering.Minimum 10 years of experience in product planning within a sophisticated technology company.Deep understanding of product planning from Development to NPI, HVM, and End of Life.Strong communication and problem-solving skills in cross-functional environments.Proven ability to make data-driven decisions in complex situations.Diligence in following plans with adaptability to new conditions.Experience in SAP and full back-end assembly processes is an advantage.About Micron Technology, Inc.
