What to expect.
You will provide general oversight of accreditation, licensing, and policy management for the Sheppard Pratt health system. The ideal candidate must have experience leading successful survey teams for The Joint Commission (TJC) and/or the Commission of Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
Specific responsibilities will include:
Overseeing activities related to renewals, modifications or new initiatives, and maintenance of conformance to voluntary and government licensing and accreditation standards. Managing preparation efforts for all activities associated with accreditation surveys, leading all survey and survey response activities. Leading the Accreditation Readiness Committee to consolidate accreditation and regulatory compliance activities across service lines. Coordinating and submitting all state licensing applications. Communicating changes as appropriate to licensing and regulatory authorities. Collaborating with compliance auditors to ensure conformance with regulatory requirements. Serving as a resource for policy development and management, reviewing policies and forms before dissemination to ensure conformance. Collaborating with other departments to streamline and standardize policies, procedures, and forms. What we need from you.
Master’s degree in healthcare discipline. 5 years’ experience in quality, compliance, or related field with experience leading efforts to achieve and maintain accreditation compliance.
