Manager of Benefits
Description We are seeking a diligent Manager of Benefits to join our team based in Dallas, Texas. As a Manager of Benefits, your primary focus will be to manage and administer our employee benefits programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster strong relationships with benefits vendors and providers. This role also includes analyzing benefits data, managing the benefits budget, and serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits. Responsibilities: • Oversee the administration of various employee benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans. • Ensure compliance of all benefits programs with federal, state, and local regulations. • Foster and manage relationships with benefits vendors and providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure service delivery meets our standards. • Analyze benefits data and trends, and leverage these insights to assess the effectiveness of our programs and recommend improvements. • Develop and implement strategies to communicate with employees about available benefits and program changes. • Monitor and manage the benefits budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining competitive offerings. • Prepare detailed reports for management on benefits utilization, trends, and suggestions for enhancements. • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, addressing concerns and providing guidance. • Utilize HRIS and benefits management software to manage and report on benefits activities. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a benefits management role • Proficient in managing all aspects of benefit functions • Experience with Oracle or similar HRIS software • Strong skills in vendor management, with a focus on negotiating and managing benefits providers • Previous experience in a HR department is necessary • Proficient in HR reporting and able to generate insightful reports for decision making • Experience with HRIS - Human Resources Info Systems • Strong skills in HRIS reporting, including data analysis and interpretation.
