Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case. **Summary:** The Manager is responsible for overseeing the operational functions of the college department and supporting strategic initiatives. This role involves updating and maintaining all relevant operational practices, ensuring alignment with university operational strategies. The Manager supervises the operational activities of the college department across various functional areas and collaborates with the Dean’s Office to ensure that the budget complies with university expectations. Additionally, the Manager serves as a liaison to Human Resources, Recruiting, Research, Payroll, Contracting, Legal, and other organizational partners regarding matters related to college operations. It is not to be construed as an exhaustive statement of duties, responsibilities or requirements. **Responsibilities:** Job **Responsibilities:** • Develops and executes strategies that significantly impact college operations. • Collaborates with leadership to assess the feasibility of various initiatives and prepares pro forma proposals to facilitate their evaluation. • Oversees and a limited number of administrative staff, and manages all operational functions ranging from human resources, contract management, scholarship distribution, to research. • Manages implementation, direction, and policy development of grants/contracts, and academic appointment processing and effort allocations. • Identifies and resolves discrepancies or variations in selected reports. • Manages the allocation of labor, including cost transfers for all college-specific staff and faculty. • Develops and maintains relationships with the Provost’s Office leadership team, Information Systems, Space committees, and as needed the Registrar’s Office. • Develops and maintains effective working relationships with peers both internal and external to the college departments • Provides and interprets information for senior CHS leadership/reports regularly. • Collaborates with senior management and the admissions staff to develop and implement enrollment models and statistical reports, track and project admissions, and develop student profile reports that indicate predictors of enrollment success. • Collaborates with the Academic Affairs team to disseminate student data to faculty and senior leadership as needed. • Responsible for coordinating and facilitating the scholarship process between the College Chairs, Program Directors, and Financial Aid. • Works to ensure cohesiveness and collaboration among all programs. • Manages all Human Resource functions from hiring, compensation, and position management in accordance with the appropriate HR offices. • Manage all operational (non-finance), data-related functions for the Colleges, and where appropriate the creation of program-specific data management systems. • Collaborate with the Association Dean of Research to ensure the execution of strategic goals and vision for Research. • Responsible for the fiscal management of all scholarship dollars in conjunction with the Office of Student Financial Aid. • Lead the Student Scholarship Committee and advance goals of the committee in alignment with programmatic needs and student interests. • Oversees the development and preparation of regular reports on the status of contracts.
