MANAGER OF COMPLIANCE

Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Manager of Compliance to join our team!

 

JOB SUMMARY:

The job of the Manager of Compliance is to lead and direct the compliance management activities of the organization; having responsibility for the monitoring of organizations’ internal initiatives and requirements. He/she will coordinate, help, and perform quality education to staff while directing compliance department operations, and training staff related to the compliance program and initiatives. The Manger of Compliance will assist the Director of Compliance in ensuring the Board of Directors, management, and employees are in compliance with the rules and regulations of regulatory agencies, that company policies and procedures are being followed, and that behavior throughout the organization meets policies and Standards of Conduct. He/she will assist in directing the efforts of all the performance improvement initiatives to ensure overall compliance with all regulatory standards including national, state, CMS, DNV, and other organization deemed agencies. He/she collaborates with operations and makes recommendations regarding nursing practices, clinicians, and Medical Staff Providers to improve overall patient safety and systems-level outcomes. He/she will support, promote, perform and/or encourage a culture of safety throughout the organization and work with subsects of compliance including but not limited to HCAPS, Emergency Preparedness and other programs within compliance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

Assisting in the development, presentation, and monitoring of internal initiatives, measures and compliance initiatives and program. Coordinate clinical outcomes tracking and reporting and designing and implementing improvement studies within compliance and research. Develop strategic plans to improve quality and compliance within the organization. Lead and assist in the management of all aspects of the compliance programs and projects that enable the organization to measure, monitor, and improve the quality and compliance of its services and processes. Responsible for coordinating, leading, and managing multiple functional departments including full accountability for business/financial results. Oversees the implementation and managing of effective processes to achieve goals of the organization relating to performance and compliance for multiple functionalareas. Drives or guides development of holistic solutions and/or key strategic plans; proactively identifies opportunities for improvement and influences business leader(s), including the most senior level, to implement recommendations through complex negotiations and/or expert consultation that promote issue resolution. Provide direction in the organization and leadership, with accountability for compliance program(s), specialized audits, special reviews, projects, and initiatives. Help drive compliance, legislative, and regulatory issues to resolution. Assist with monitoring and managing compliance risks on processes, systems, and products. Help to influence all stakeholders to support key quality projects/programs to ensure positive solutions that deliver results.
