The Opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Studio Operations, the Manager, Culinary Operations oversees the execution and operation of the Culinary Department at our studio headquarters in West Chester, PA.
You will be responsible for leading the Culinary Styling and Provisions Teams, budgeting, continuity plans and all necessary equipment and operational needs.

Your Impact
You will work with many teams to make decisions related to the execution of multi-channel culinary programming. The Manager, Culinary Operations oversees a vendor funded department budget of approximately $2mm as well as SAP data and invoicing of over $1.5mm in reimbursements. You will have managers as well as individual contributors reporting directly into you. The Manager, Culinary Operations is responsible for ensuring needs of the business are met from a resource and scheduling standpoint to support all multi-channel programming and content production. Additionally, this individual works directly with a large vendor community to coordinate fees for styling services and aligns those reimbursements for vendor deductions. You will also handle change management and communication. You will manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, competing priorities, transformational organizational change, while fostering authentic partnerships to support all of our culinary operational goals and objectives. You will be responsible for employee development, hiring, and promote a safe workplace. You will implement a forward ahead plan, looking at TSVs, power promos, host promos, and key items in advance with Merchandising, Planning, vendors, and TV Sales. You will develop and maintain honest, productive, collaborative, and flexible communication with culinary staff, QVC department staffs, independent contractors, outside purveyors, on-air guests, and show hosts.
What You Bring
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalentBachelor Degree in Management, Culinary field or Related field preferredExperience:
Proven experience in Culinary, Budgeting, Inventory and Production Management.Experience with Studio Lighting, Cameras, and Visual Merchandising is preferred not required.8 to 10 years Culinary experience, as well as 5+ years managerial experience preferred not required.Comprehensive skill set consisting of Visual Merchandising, Culinary Management, composition and Product presentation.Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
