Manager of Delta Care and Scholarships Funds

How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
This
position will lead the day-to-day back-office functions of the Delta Care &
Scholarship Funds, including: application process, Care Fund coordinator / case
worker team, researching applicant data and trends, driving technology
enhancements and process improvements.
**Summaryof responsibilities (not comprehensive of all tasks):**
+ Develop and managethe DCSF application process and work with HRIS to implement technologyenhancements for the application process
+ Lead a team ofCare Fund application coordinators/(contracted) case workers for the Fundsproviding guidance on how to handle unique/complex circumstances withconfidentiality
+ Track and analyzeCare Fund applicant data to recommend and drive improved processes, guidelines,and technology
+ Work closely withthe grant committee to present and recommend applicants for funding on a weeklybasis
+ Work closely withthe General Manager, DCSF on the multi-year fundraising campaign, providingdonor data trends and analysis
+ Other projects andtasks based on business needs.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Workexperience in non-profit sector, philanthropy or related field
+ Leadershipexperience managing case workers or customer support specialists
+ Demonstrated capability to develop, manage, andreport multi-fund budgets.
+ Professional interpersonal and communicationskills (listening, interpersonal, oral, public speaking and written).
+ Effectivewriting, editing and proofreading skills.
+ Strong planning and implementation skills; abilityto research and organize information and manage multiple competing assignmentsand responsibilities.
+ A high degree of professionalism, confidence andflexibility.
+ Intermediateproficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), website managementand the ability to effectively utilize proprietary software.
+ Abilityto develop and maintain a good working relationship with DCSF staff and Board,members, Delta leaders, and professional colleagues.
+ Ability to interact withmanagement at all levels and build effective working relationships
+ Ability to handleconfidential and sensitive information
+ Ability to exercise soundjudgement in ambiguous circumstances
+ Comfortable workingautonomously in an ambiguous environment
+ Results oriented andcapable of meeting deadlines with attention to detail, accuracy andfollow-through
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, andpersonal data.
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high schoolequivalency.
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in theUnited States.

+ Proven ability to develop, overseeand implement major fundraising events and projects.
+ Knowledge of philosophies, principles, practicesand trends in the operations and management of 501c3
+ Experiencein administration and supervision.
+ Provenability to facilitate annual audits/reviews of organizational Bylaws andPolicies in collaboration with a Governance Committee
+ Demonstratedleadership in monitoring and directing updates for strategic planning.
+ Provenexperience in applying for and managing grants, including identifying fundingopportunities, writing and submitting proposals, and ensuring compliance withgrant terms and conditions
