Your tasks

Motivate and lead direct reports, communicate targets, goals and expectations to meet site strategy and budget (25% of time spent) Provide technical recommendations and support, both to internal and external customers (15% of time spent) Investigate problems and lead in facilitating recommendations for improvements to ensure highest level of all quality throughout product offering and services provided (20% of time of spent) Evaluate workloads within department to ensure appropriate facilitation of job tasks and work load in order to optimize departmental efficiency (20% of time spent) Develop and coaches team, to develop expertise, knowledge and enhance skill set (20% of time spent) Manage shop jobs with an emphasis on customer service, inside sales, and revenue generation.

Your profile

A combination of at least 5 years of related experience in the following industries: Paper & Pulp, Engineering, Service, and/or Machine Shop. Proven leader with previous experience of managing others Data analysis background with high proficiency in excel and experience working with databases. Bachelor degree in Engineering related field or 2 years higher education considered with >8 years industry experience Excellent oral and written communication skills, entrepreneurial skills, and interpersonal skills necessary to operate in a team environment. Lean Management, Six Sigma and/or Operational Excellence training preferred.
