Manager of Enterprise IT Operations
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** **Position Purpose:** The Manager of Enterprise IT Operations oversees the daily operations of the Information Systems (I.S.) Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical services and solutions. This role is responsible for managing and directing activities related to technical application systems, computing hardware (including servers and networking technologies), database management, telecommunications, data security, and internet access. Through collaboration with Trinity Health and adherence to enterprise strategies, this position ensures timely and effective support of organizational information needs. The Manager develops and enforces I.S. policies and strategies, manages budgets and reporting, and builds a high-performing workforce to achieve operational excellence. This role aligns with Mercy Care’s philosophy and supports its mission by driving innovation, efficiency, and professionalism across all I.S. operations. **What You Will Do:** **Leadership** + Advise and guide Regional Health Ministry (RHM) and regional leaders in strategy development and achieving performance goals. + Promote collaboration across service areas to ensure consistency and integration of operations. **Direction and Growth** + Lead standardization, optimization of policies, processes, and methodologies. + Manage vendor/contract labor strategy and optimize spending. **Strategic Support & Accountability** + Collaborate on system-wide strategy development and functional priorities. + Oversee functional leadership teams to ensure success and compliance. + Measure and report KPIs to demonstrate value delivery. **Operational Delivery** + Lead and optimize IT service delivery for endpoint devices (e.g., infrastructure, desktops, laptops, peripherals) while adhering to security standards. + Oversee IT operations across multiple sites, ensuring operational effectiveness and alignment with business strategies. **Functional Role** + Accountable for leading, guiding, and directing the Trinity Health IT service delivery for quality and continuous improvement of endpoint devices (e.g., infrastructure, desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals) while adhering to and executing Enterprise Information Security standards, policies, and best practices. + Identify, define, and solve complex problems impacting the management and direction of the business. + Collaborate with System Redesign Service Areas, Regions, and Health Ministries to ensure consistency and integration of strategy and operations. + Perform oversight of multiple small sites/locations or a single medium/large site within a region's health ministry, typically managing multiple supervisors. + Enable enterprise-level plans to address internal or external business and regulatory issues, providing functional expertise and ensuring performance and service standards. + Support the director and senior manager of Enterprise IT Operations in achieving goals and priorities while managing Enterprise IT Operations individual contributors and/or supervisors to enable operational effectiveness. **Minimum Qualifications:** + **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, computer technology, information management, or a related field (or equivalent experience). + **Experience:** 5-7 years in IT management with experience supporting end-user devices and ongoing professional development; 2+ years of leadership in a multi-site healthcare setting. + **Skills:** Strong management abilities, excellent communication skills (written and verbal), and experience in budgeting, personnel administration, and contractor management. + Operational expertise in IT and business operations, including technical, clinical, financial, administrative, and ERP systems. + **Networking Knowledge** : Understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and devices, including TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs. + **Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving** : Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime. + **System Administration** : Proficiency in managing and configuring operating systems (Windows) and server environments. + **Epic Knowledge** : Experience with Epic applications in a clinical or IS field relevant to the position. **Position Highlights and Benefits:** + Day-1 Benefits (PTO accrual, retirement plan and match, health insurance and more!) + Opportunity to get paid daily – through DailyPay + Paid holidays and generous Paid Time Off (PTO) + Discounts with major vendors; AT&T, Verizon, Ford Motor Company, General Motors, Quicken Loans, AND MORE! + Low-cost medical, dental, and vision insurance plans.
