GREWE supports over 75,000 Amex colleagues and contractors in over eight million square feet of property located in 59 countries. Global Design Management (40%)** + Identify Amex business unit-based personas and guide the creation of optimal floor plan layouts and configurations. These personas include technology, customer care professionals, etc. and are based on feedback received from internal businesses. + Manage and supervise design deliverables for GREWE capital projects at all stages: new sites and refurbishments. This includes architectural drawings, finish specifications, lighting and acoustic studies, branding, signage and artwork. + Advise global GREWE facilities teams on design business-as-usual projects, including supplier coordination + Advise architectural partners on space planning metrics and allocation, in collaboration with GREWE Design and Construction team + Lead continual update and knowledge acquisition on industry design trends, products and best practices. **2. Performance Management and Global Standards Governance (30%)** + Creation / Evolution of global standards + Oversee global supplier relationships focused on interior architectural products + Conduct learning sessions to update stakeholders and partners on updates to Amex Design standards + Advise third party design partners globally on Amex GREWE design standard applications to ongoing projects, working closely with GREWE Design and Construction teams + Lead creation and continual management of global vendor master service agreements in collaboration with Amex Procurement + Design and run pilot programs for global workplace design standards. **3. Strategic Planning (20%)** + Advise leasing team on spatial requirements for new transactions, supported by GREWE’s digital and analytics and capital management teams + Create and present business cases to senior GREWE leadership and regional delivery teams to get alignment + Develop a value driven and actionable strategy to: 1. 2. Increase speed of project execution 3. Improve colleague satisfaction 4. Better manage design and aesthetic quality of Amex workspaces. **4. Stakeholder Engagement (10%)** + Meets routinely with key GREWE and workplace partner stakeholders to keep transparency into priorities across teams and address points of friction in our service delivery. + Meets routinely with other Planning & Administration discipline partners (i.e. hospitality, operations, safety and sustainability) to find synergistic goals and co-create strategic value-additions on a global scale. **Minimum Qualifications:** + University/Bachelor’s degree and equivalent experience in Architecture. + 7-10 years’ work experience global workplace interior design and space planning in commercial or corporate real estate portfolios, with a clear understanding of the capital project process. + 7-10 years’ experience managing major architecture design companies as third-party vendors to major corporations + 7-10 years’ experience managing design projects for large commercial or corporate real estate office environments + Deep knowledge of real estate, facilities, and interior design + Ability to write and communicate clear and compelling business cases, analyses and program plans, tailored various stakeholder groups + Proactive critical thinking and qualitative/quantitative problem-solving skills (issue identification, problem structuring, analysis, development of recommendations) + Exceptional organizational skills and ability to focus on details while not losing sight of the big picture + Ability to easily partner with and influence senior leaders across the AXP organization. + Strong team player, ability to take direction and remain flexible and adaptable to changing priorities. + Travel up to 25 % of the Time **Preferred Qualifications:** + Preferred Related Industry Experience: Corporate Real Estate, Interior Design, Space Planning, Program ManagementNCIDQ, B. Arch, LEED, WELL + Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). **Qualifications** Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually bonus benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
