As a maturing startup, there are a lot of moving parts! What we're looking for.. The Manager of Inside Sales is responsible for leading and supporting a team of inside sales representatives to achieve revenue goals and maintain high productivity levels. This hands-on role involves coaching team members through call reviews, ensuring adherence to sales best practices, and stepping in to make sales calls when necessary. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving team success while staying connected to the sales process. Responsibilities + Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of inside sales representatives. + Set clear goals and expectations for the team while monitoring individual and team performance. + Monitor daily team activities and ensure adherence to established sales processes and scripts. + Foster a positive and motivating work environment to enhance employee engagement and productivity. + Analyze sales performance metrics and adjust tactics to optimize results. + Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot challenges with specific leads or tools. + Use data to identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for growth + Make sales calls to model best practices for team members and contribute to team revenue goals. + Handle escalated customer concerns, delivering timely and effective solutions. Qualifications + Proven experience in inside sales, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets. + 3+ years of previous leadership or team management experience is required. + Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback. + Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. + Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot). + Experience in the home technology industry is preferred. + Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
