Manager of Perfusion Services

Position Summary / Career Interest:The Perfusion Manager is accountable for the overall operations of the perfusion department. Is responsible for ensuring the continuing quality of patient care, customer service (external and internal) and the cost-efficient operation of the unit. Assists the director in the oversite of the budget, staffing, equipment and supply management. Supports the Hospital mission and strategic plan, to include budgeting and resource allocation, organizational policy and overall management plan of the Department of Perfusion Services.

Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

Oversite for the Olathe Medical center integration, and ongoing operations of the Perfusion services, supply management, and equipment at Olathe.Staffing oversite at both campuses to include staff education and yearly evaluations.Oversite of supply contracts and supply management, to include new product evaluation.Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.These statements are intended to describe the essential functions of the job and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. Required Education and Experience

High School GraduateBachelor of Science or above

Preferred Education and Experience

Master's Degree in Perfusion

Required Licensure and Certification

Certified in Cardiovascular Perfusion (CCP) - American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) or Board Eligible (only for new graduates)

Required Language Skills

Fluent English -
