Your Opportunity: Taylor is searching for an energetic and self-motivated leader capable of driving production team success in the Production Manager role for the Taylor Print Solutions Group located in their Hutchins, TX facility.

Your Responsibilities:

Drive positive safety culture with goals of maintaining safety system compliance and zero safety incidentsIncrease machine throughput by reducing all down time, including setup time, and maximizing run speedsDevelop and maintain metrics related to safety, production, maintenance, quality, and shippingApply continuous improvement techniques to improve all areas of responsibilityEnsure established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are followed. Develop new SOPs and modify existing SOPs to support continuous improvementApply lean manufacturing principles including 5S; drive 5S application and achieve SustainCoach/mentor all direct and indirect reports to achieve development and succession planningIdentify labor resource needs and apply appropriately, via variable assignments and hours, to achieve resultsEnsure preventive maintenance activity is established and followedDrive employee accountabilityDrive positive employee experience

You Must Have:

Excellent verbal and written communication and facilitation skillsAbility to manage a wide range of processes and personnel needs and pivot well across multiple fast-paced critical activitiesStrong team leadershipIndependenceAbility to work well with other leaders and drive synergy across departmentsComputer proficiency, including working within Microsoft OfficeOrganizational, time management, and project planning skills and experienceContinuous improvement mindset and application experienceProblem solving skills

We Would Also Prefer:

Multiple years of print manufacturing leadership experienceUnderstanding of offset printing processLean manufacturing education/certificationExperience working within ISO certificationExperience working with an ERP system that includes shop floor data collection
