Supports the manufacturing area, providing training on company policies and procedures, and tied to process improvement and quality standards. Administers programs for costs related to scrap materials, production and employee overtime. Provides support on issues tied to human resources and coordinates efforts to ensure attaining the department goals and objectives. Develops reports tied to the manufacturing lines for the different shifts and identifies and corrects any problems affecting the production lines. Ensures production line efficiency, process flow and schedules. Controls and supervises department resources based on company’s needs

Lead staff involved with the production/packaging processes in compliance with all requirements.Execute product quality/production performance on time and within budget.Assure the appropriate interaction of support groups.Meet with cross-functional management staff to evaluate and improve production process.Manage production schedules per product lines and throughput required.Establishes KPI and methods to improve production OEE.Leverage organization resources and coordinates with other managers to achieve commitments.Guide, mentor, and develop team to foster continuous improvement to achieve production goals.Identify top performers, effectively manages the corrective action plan for performance improvement.Actively support staff in successful planning and implementation of individual development plans.Partner with Quality, Technology and Operations to investigate manufacturing/packaging incidentsProvide input to overall manufacturing policies and strategies to assure consistency, compliance and quality of procedures within the organization.Ensure operations are in compliance with corporate standards as well as ISO 9001:2015Ensure that training for all production staff is conducted in a timely, efficient, and complete.Supervise, train, and mentor production staff to enhance skills and performance.Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to improve team effectiveness.What will convince us- Qualification & Skills: Education/Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (Bachelor’s degree in engineering is preferred) Minimum of 8 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5+ years in a supervisory role (Working with a labor union is highly desirable.)Read, writes, and speaks English and Spanish correctly and fluently. Analyzes and interprets general business reports, KPI, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
