Manager of Rehabilitation Services – Towson, MD and Elkridge, MD

Rehabilitation services at Sheppard Pratt play a vital role in supporting patients at our Towson hospital campus and Baltimore/Washington hospital campus. The rehabilitation services team provides a comprehensive array of therapeutic interventions that complement overall treatment plans.

What to expect

In this dual-role position, you’ll split your time between overseeing key operational and clinical activities and delivering direct care to patients. You will provide skilled expertise in one or more of the following areas: occupational therapy, art therapy, physical therapy, recreational therapy, speech-language therapy, yoga therapy, music therapy, or dance movement therapy.

Specific responsibilities include:

Leadership and Management Overseeing the day-to-day operations of therapeutic services ensuring high-quality care and collaborative, supportive environment for staff. Leading and managing a multidisciplinary team. Ensuring compliance with all healthcare regulations and internal policies, consistently striving to improve patient outcomes. Collaborating with senior leadership to implement and maintain best practices for care delivery. Direct Care Providing direct therapeutic services to a caseload of clients within your area of expertise. Providing coverage and support to the Director as need, ensuring continuity of services.

Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.

What we need from you.

Requires a master’s degree and one of the following current Maryland licenses: Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) Licensed Clinical Professional Art Therapist (LCPAT) Music Therapist – Board Certified (MT-BC) Licensed Dance/Movement Therapist (BC-DMT) Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) Certified Recreational Therapist (CTRS) Certified Yoga Therapist (C-IAYT) 5 years of progressively more responsible experience
