We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to join our Commercial Operator Oil & Gas sales team. This role offers the opportunity to join a rapidly growing company delivering industry-leading solutions to customers in the world’s most dynamic and fastest-growing sector.
 Performance Objectives   Responsible for weekly forecast for month/quarter/yearTight coordination with marketing, sales, business development, product and other functions on go to market plan and execution of sales targetsDirects staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales programCoordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goalsAssigns sales territory to sales personnelEscalation point for sales calls, provides daily coaching to sales team to further develop our sales professionals and progress deals through the processAnalyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and to assist dealers in promoting salesAn expert on sales process and coaching sales process for our sales professionalsReviews market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates, and develops sales campaigns.Represents company at industry association meetings to promote product.Acts as liaison between sales and other departmentsHolds sales meetings, pipeline reviews, 1:1s and forecast meetingsApplies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.Develops and implements new products, processes, standards, or operational plans that will have impact on the achievement of functional results.Requires communication with leadership.Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by direct reports, customers, and stakeholdersSets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational resultsManages a team of experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments. Competitive Candidate ProfileTo be successful, the sales manager must have:Proven success in SaaS sales8 or more years sales experience3 or more years managing a high performing growth and retention sales team of at least 5 team membersOil & Gas or Energy experience a plusThis person must thrive in a fast-paced, high growth environment and have a humble and genuine curiosity for learningEnergetic and collaborative mixed in with a bit of competitivenessSelf-motivated with a strong work ethic and committed to leading sales professionals in uncovering and closing growth dealsExcellent communicatorProven track record of consistent sales growth and quota obtainmentDemonstrated ability to conduct a solution-oriented sales process including qualification, buying process, decision makers, budgets, drafting proposals, and closingExperience in utilizing Salesforce or a similar CRM for daily tracking of sales opportunities and management of pipelineResults-oriented and works with urgency with a #oneteam mentality
