As a Manager of Sales Engineering, you will be responsible for selling into product and technical teams at large enterprises and you should have digital BSS experience. Your goal is to become a trusted advisor to our savvy customers.
Job Responsibilities
Provide technical and solution leadership in all technical sales in AsiaProvide network and BSS focused sales support, including technically qualifying prospects, preparing technical proposals, responding to RFPs and RFIsDevelop and maintain relationships with technical/BSS/IT/engineering leaders in the telecom, media and Internet domains Work independently and proactively with minimal supervisionOnce a deal is closed help on-board the customer and hand-over to the account management and customer delivery teamDelight your customers and drive customer references and case studiesWork cross-functionally with LotusFlare Marketing, Product Management, Account Management and technical colleaguesJob Requirements
3+ years experience in BSS supporting technical sales to VP-level executives of telecom operators in APACBSS Domain expertise - Strong technical background selling Software and BSS solutionsExcellent understanding of mobile and broadband telecommunications operator IT and digital systemsOrdering, activation, fulfillment, charging, catalog and/or SIM product experienceExperience in delivering against a plan in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary, and often ambiguous environmentGood listening skills and ability to empathize with customersComfortable with demos, proposals, RFPs, contracts, CRs, SOWs and the ‘nuts and bolts’ of sales for enterprise software projectsExcellent presentation and communication skills (verbal and written English)BS or BA in Computer Science, Physics, Math or other technical fieldYou are a digital savvy individual that knows the latest digital technologies and trends; you experiment and are open to integrating new digital technologies in everyday workExcellent English written and verbal communication skillsFlexible to be able to work in global timezone as neededSome travel (about 10%) expectedRecruitment Process
