Emphasis is on the supervision of the staff that is providing supportive counseling and discharge planning through the care coordination process. Care is rendered to age-appropriate populations on each patient care unit. The Social Work Manager is responsible for maintaining established standards, and administrative support and guidance to a department of social workers. The Social Work Manager is responsible for maintaining ongoing collaborative and collegial relationships with Medical Staff, clinical and support departments.
