This role will be responsible for: analyzing internal and external data to support decision-making and prioritization; drafting official documents, including written communication and presentations, to ensure accountability and transparency of projects/initiatives; creating and maintaining documentation; helping advance projects with campus-wide impact; supporting and contributing to strategic work to advance the goals of the Office of the Registrar, Enrollment Management, and the University of Utah. **Responsibilities** + Act as lead project manager, identifying scope for all Office of the Registrar projects. + Collaborate with the Office of the Registrar team to determine priorities for projects. + Support and assemble teams consisting of Office of the Registrar staff and other campus partners. + Ensure initiatives are moving forward and meeting deadlines; modify plans and schedules as needed. + Provide initial support in the acquisition of technology/consultants (ex: RFIs, RFPs, etc.). + Develop and implement efficient and effective systems for managing information, projects and communications. + Document and communicate progress on all technical and organizational projects to relevant stakeholders. + Collaborate with Office of the Registrar team members to analyze and review current procedures and develop strategies for improvements. Identify redundancies across University of Utah campus offices and within Office of the Registrar units and propose suggestions to increase efficiency and effectiveness. + Provide policy analysis support on areas related to the Office of the Registrar and Enrollment Management. + Evaluate and support implementation of new tools that work in conjunction with PeopleSoft to increase functionality and support for Enrollment Management and University strategic plans. + Support the needs of the Office of the Registrar via the creation and delivery of impactful documentation and training materials for new and/or existing systems and users. + Provide reports related to regular and ad hoc projects (e.g. objectives, goals, plans, requirements, progress). + Ensure accurate technical and business requirements are gathered and disseminated to/from IT partners and other relevant stakeholders. + Utilize various tools and software (e.g., SQL , Excel, Tableau) to perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis. + Other duties as assigned that support the registrar and systems initiatives. **Minimum Qualifications** Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related area of assignment or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Four years of progressively more responsible management experience. Background knowledge of assigned department’s area of specialization in order to analyze, plan and draw conclusions for recommendations to superiors. Demonstrated leadership skills in planning and directing employees and processes in order to effectively monitor and develop subordinates and to ensure the smooth operation of department. Master’s degree in a related area may be preferred.
