Inviting applications for the role of Manager-OKTA Technical SME
The Okta Technical SME is a critical member of the Identity and Access Management Team, responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance on all aspects of Okta. This includes designing, implementing, and managing Okta solutions; troubleshooting and resolving issues; and providing training and support to users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Okta, as well as experience with other identity and access management (IAM) technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the go-to technical expert on Okta products, features, and capabilities, offering guidance to both internal teams and external clients.
• Provide strategic and tactical guidance to design, develop, and implement Okta solutions that align with clients' business objectives and security requirements.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to identity and access management, contributing insights to enhance our offerings.
• Drive Incident Problem Management with focus on RCA and RCCA in collaboration with SME groups across HR/Finance/BU heads.
• Drive reviews with other with key stakeholders ensuring the platform is aligned to business and compliance needs of the organization.
• Needs to manage relationship and resolve dispute if any between internal stakeholders and drive message across BU leaders.
• Bring Industry best practices to ensure operational stability.
• Drive Service improvement projects across in partnership with internal and partner teams.
• Explore opportunities to optimize and ensure we are in line with business requirements.
• Good Communications Skills.
• Self-Learner to skilled on new technologies.
• Adhere to SLA’s define and Goal Archiver.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent subject
• Relevant years of relevant work experience in OKTA with focus on driving adoption, improve business delivery across verticals.
• Strong expertise in designing, implementing, and managing Okta products such as Okta Identity Cloud, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Okta device Trust and API Access Management.
• Proven experience in architecting and deploying identity solutions for complex enterprise environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Good understanding of Audit and Compliance
• Good in oral in written communications
Preferred qualifications (Desired Experience):
• Experience in driving adoption of the platform and drive business value by interacting with HR / Finance / IT leadership teams and other Businesses, as needed.
• Good understanding of user life cycle, provisioning, de-provisioning, certification process and scripting.
• Knowledge on integration with standard Target systems like Active Directory, Mail systems, Applications, Unix systems for provisioning
• Understanding and development of REST API’s.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills with experience in discussing with OEMs on solutions and root cause analysis.
• Flexible to accommodate time-zones, preferred comfortable with 247 operations, as teams are geographically dispersed.
• Proactive and team management capabilities.
• Understanding and experience on Okta Workflows
