In this role you will:
Collaborate with the national TRS team on leading insolvency projects, both large and medium in scale. Engage in restructuring and turnaround initiatives, including early intervention efforts like independent business evaluations, safe harbour consultations, assessments of financial sustainability, counterparty examinations, and liquidity analyses. Pursue your interests within specific sectors with the encouragement of the senior leadership team, seizing chances to broaden your knowledge and skills. Take advantage of the opportunity to work alongside other teams within Strategy and Transactions, including Debt Advisory, Transaction Diligence, Valuations and Business Modelling, Real Estate Advisory, Infrastructure Advisory, and Mergers & Acquisitions, to deliver optimal solutions for our clients.
What we’re looking for
Here’s our ‘wish list’, but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your strengths, what you want to learn, and how far you want to go.
Possess a degree in commerce, economics, or law (or a similar qualification). Bring 5 to 10 years of relevant experience with a solid history of high performance in restructuring/advisory work either on behalf of creditors or distressed companies. Either already have or be prepared to obtain the ARITA (Australian Restructuring, Insolvency and Turnaround Association) certification. Have a talent for both numerical and descriptive analysis, and be enthusiastic about contributing positively to our community.
