Job Purpose: The Payment Processing Manager leads the development and implementation of payment
processing strategies, managing and leading teams responsible for processing payments for individual workers
and provider agencies, and ensuring compliance with contracts and financial regulations. This role coordinates
with other departments providing customer service support on payment processing information and escalations,
managing the pay cycle process, and leading the management of the payment processing department to ensure
high levels of quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.

Leads teams in collaboration with supervisors to manage the daily activities, coordinates resources, and sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion and complete projects as needed. Serves as the organization’s subject-matter expert in knowledge about rules, regulations, and program compliance requirements related to timesheet and claims processing. Leads the teams responsible for data entry using manual entry and optical character reader technology, as well as teams responsible for more complex research and troubleshooting of payment issues and escalations. Partners with IT as a super user of technology and trains teams on software used for payment processing, including MS Outlook, Automate, Flexicapture, Laserfiche, and a homegrown SQL database system. Coordinates with payroll, tax, and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate payments and reporting. Partners with the quality team to implement regular audits and continuous improvement projects. Provides exemplary customer service to iLIFE’s customers, including but not limited to individual workers, provider agencies, case management groups, and government agencies. Creates and keeps track of KPIs to ensure the efficiency of business operations and create and implement changes or improvements when necessary. Other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Performs human resources responsibilities for employees which includes onboarding, training, coaching on performance, completes performance reviews and overall employee morale. Recommends hiring, terminations, compensation changes, promotions, corrective action decisions and terminations. Reviews and approves accurate report of time. Responsible for ensuring that personal actions, and actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations, and laws applicable to the program funders, contracts, and CFI business.
