Job DescriptionKey tasks and responsibilities:
Effectively manage and coordinate human resources activities throughout a life cycle of an employee which includes recruitment, development and employee relations through:Develop comprehensive HR strategies that enhance organizational performance.Lead HR transformation initiatives to improve employee engagement and productivity.Strategic talent managementImplement competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain talented employees.Ensure the organization complies with employment laws, internal policies, and industry standards.Create a culture that drives ‘Our safe Behaviours’, The OceanaGold Way and Respect at work.Influences key stakeholders, including senior leadership and external partners, to align their actions with organizational strategy.Designs and leads workforce planning strategies that support long-term business goalsInfluence strategic decision-making through data-driven insights,Continuously improve processes and systems to ensure efficiency and alignment with organizational objectives.Facilitate the performance review process and help employees if they face any challenges during the same.Assess and refine the work culture to ensure it aligns with the organization’s overall mission and vision.Create a culture that drives ‘Our safe Behaviours’, The OceanaGold Way and Respect at work.Ensure timely and accurate reporting to the Asset President – Didipio Operations and other internal and external parties.QualificationsGraduate of Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or any related field. Master’s degree in human resources or organizational development is highly desirable.>10 years of progressive experience in Human Resources roles2 years’ experience in a supervisory role or management positionProven experience in managing key HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and training and development.Experience in developing and implementing HR policies and programs aligned with business strategies.Strong understanding of local employment laws and regulationsComprehensive knowledge of HR best practices, employee engagement strategies, talent management and organizational developmentFamiliarity with HRIS(Human Resource Information System) and HR technologiesUnderstanding of compensation, benefits, and performance appraisal systemLeadership and team managementAble to make sound decisions based on HR data, trends, and organizational needs.Able to align HR initiatives with overall business objectives and drive organizational change.Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.Able to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.Additional InformationOGC VALUES: CARE | RESPECT | INTEGRITY | PERFORMANCE | TEAMWORK
