Manager - Planning & Execution

 

The Equifax Corporate Technology Planning & Execution (P&E) is seeking a Manager - Technology Planning & Execution. The successful candidate will operate with a strong sense of urgency and ownership in a fast-paced environment. This position is an exciting multi-faceted opportunity for candidates who are fast learners, highly motivated to succeed, influential, passionate about solving problems and perform as a team player. 

This role will be responsible for oversight of multiple initiatives and milestones utilizing multiple methodologies (i.e. Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid, etc.). This will include, but not limited to, supporting Program Managers/Project Managers/Scrum Masters in negotiating and managing consensus relative to priorities, timing, rollout, budget and change management across multiple organizations and stakeholders. The Manager - Planning & Execution must drive the execution of strategic priorities and be able to effectively manage impacts to the broader organization, be detailed-oriented and communicate / present technical content effectively across all levels of the enterprise, including Senior Leadership, and coordinate change with internal customer facing teams.

 What you’ll do

Drive and manage the performance of the team, providing coaching and direction to the team and delivering results through the work of the team  

Recognizes individual strengths and development needs within their own team and arranges specific assignments to address those needs.

Understands talent requirements and proactively identifies talent internally and externally, working to create opportunities to recruit and leverage talent 

Apply analytical thinking to develop plans and coordinates resources to meet operational objectives within the area of responsibility, identifying and reducing obstacles for the team

Establishes goals and achieves results within own scope of responsibility, holding self and others accountable for results

Drives full ownership across the team to achieve goals

Promote and evangelize Agile across the organization

Facilitate cross alliance, tribe, squad, and/or team risk and issue management

Facilitate scrum of scrum meetings for scrum teams in your tribe or segment

Manage operational reporting for tribe or segment (examples:  Alliance scorecards, OKR reporting, compliance reports, audits, delivery updates, time reports, etc.)

Support Tribe or Segment Leader with executive reporting and communications

What experience you need 

Results-oriented professional with 8-10 years of program, PMO, or portfolio management experience

Ability to successfully drive and manage the performance of the team, providing coaching and direction to the team and delivering results through the work of the team 

Hands on delivery experience of large scale, cross functional technology initiatives / programs 

Responsible for identifying and delivering technology transformation KPIs that produce cost savings, revenue and improve technology operations, performance and availability

Experience working closely with architecture, engineering, security, audit and compliance teams and leadership to deliver complex transformation initiatives

Experience managing against a set of business cases and budget management to secure funding and resources needed to execute strategic, cross-functional technology initiatives while partnering with leadership on scope and roadmap

Experience with financial systems (e.g. Oracle) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is preferred

Cloud Certification Preferred
