Position\: Manager – Plastic Technology

Educational Qualification & Exp - Diploma in Polymers/Plastics Technology with min 10 years of experience

    Bachelor's Degree in Polymers/Plastics Technology wit min 8 years of experience

Key Responsibilities\:

Extensive knowledge of polymer physics and polymer chemistry; adept at formulating a diverse array of high-performance insulating materials including Unsaturated Polyester (SMC & DMC), Thermoset Injection Molding Compound (Polyester Melamine, Phenol Formaldehyde, Epoxy, and Silicones). Proficient in understanding the correlation between the physical/chemical properties of inorganic materials and their influence on polymer performance.Provide guidance to product designers for plastic material selection, component design, and mold design.Offer expertise in processing know-how and testing support.Engage in cost reduction/value engineering projects and create process sheets.Conduct thermal analysis of polymeric materials and components for competitive product benchmarking/reverse engineering, failure analysis, fingerprinting, and quality assessment. Skilled in establishing standard polymer test methods and capable of training laboratory personnel to ensure precise results.Collaborate with material suppliers to fulfill custom requirements for composite material and process development, aligning with business objectives and quality improvement.Provide support to other product groups and focus on green materials/products and diverse environmental compliance mandates.Train self and design team by developing training modules, presentations, and conducting demonstrations and hands-on sessions as needed.
