You can expect to feel comfortable approaching him with any questions or concerns. **Your Role** + Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. + Drive the design and development of infrastructure solutions that align with customer needs and maintain standards of scalability, performance, and reliability. + Collaborate with Product Managers and Architects to define and execute a product roadmap that addresses market trends and customer feedback. + Oversee the complete product development cycle, ensuring quality and usability from design to release. + Implement and uphold best practices in software development, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration. + Stay abreast of industry trends to inform technical strategy and solve complex, large-scale problems within multi-hardware environments. + Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across Nutanix to integrate insights from engineering, product management, and customer success into development cycles. + Establish clear first-year objectives, including scaling the engineering team, launching key product features, and enhancing overall product quality and performance. **What You Will Bring** + 10+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on cloud-native infrastructure and data management platforms. + Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and mentoring engineering teams (8-10 engineers). + Hands-on expertise in Python, Golang, and PostgreSQL, with a keen understanding of hardware certification processes. + Strong knowledge of hardware-agnostic solutions and experience delivering software across diverse infrastructure types. + Proficiency in Agile development practices and familiarity with project management tools and continuous delivery pipelines. + Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with on-premise systems. + Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. + Preferred experience with Kubernetes, container orchestration, disaster recovery technologies, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments. **Work Arrangement** Hybrid: This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence.
