This is a hybrid role requiring the incumbent to be onsite 3 or more days a week.** The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $44.25 – $66.37. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. **Job Summary** Responsible for the PeaceHealth Policy Program and document management across the system. Works collaboratively with various department leadership to ensure policies are effectively managed. Ensures all PeaceHealth policies are easily accessible to all staff. Develops business strategies and operational plans relating to policy management and document control. Provides leadership for direct reports; personnel management; resource management; and fiscal accountability. **What you will enjoy:** + Responsible for the PeaceHealth Policy Management Program and document management development and implementation. + Leads the PeaceHealth System Policy Committees and subcommittees and coordinates ongoing development, review, revision, and retirement of policies, procedures and other documents as assigned. + Manages the processes for standardizing policies and other supported documents across PeaceHealth. + Manages regulatory compliance requirements related to policies and communicates with leaders and key stakeholders regarding policy related regulatory changes, concerns and deficiencies. + Leads and coordinates the ongoing monitoring and auditing of policies and other supported documents to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. + Manages and maintains system-wide document management standards, processes and procedures. Develops, implements, and provides related education and training to support these standards, processes and procedures. + Maintains and modifies the PeaceHealth Policy Management Program accountability structure for setting, achieving, and sustaining operational metrics targets. Collaborates with operational leadership to develop and execute action plans for correcting operational metrics that are off target. + Works collaboratively with other caregivers and teams throughout PeaceHealth to ensure that policies, procedures and other supported documents are properly maintained. + Manages policy management vendor relationship including logistics challenges, process changes, caregiver concerns, and system changes. Tracks and trends customer feedback to enhance caregiver experience. + Works with leadership and stakeholders to ensure that organizational integrity and regulatory requirements are maintained in policy management policies and processes. + Provides leadership to the Policy Management Team to include position qualifications, training and education, performance reviews and other HR related duties. + Performs other duties as assigned. + **What you will bring:** + Bachelor's Degre in related field or a combination of education and experience that provides the caregiver with the requisite knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the job. + Minimum of 5 years Related experience in policy administration, technical writing, management of complex programs, etc. + Minimum of 2 years Leadership experience. + Knowledge and understanding of continuous improvement tools and methodologies and + Expertise in program/project management preferred. + Policy Management Professional Certification (IPMP) Required within 1-1/2 Yrs:. + Project Management Professional Certification preferred. **Additional Skills:** + Ability to deliver financial results for areas of accountability. + Able to document and communicate decisions and designs to all levels of the organization. + Able to lead large and small groups of collaborations. + Able to identify opportunities, facilitate work groups, and develop new processes. + Ability to serve as a team player, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills as well as analytical and planning skills. + Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external constituencies at all levels. + Able to analyze interrelated elements of problems and works systematically to solve them and use sound judgment to develop efficient and feasible resolutions to challenging issues. + Ability to set goals and develops timely, appropriate and actionable plans, including adequate milestones and measurements for accomplishing them. + Able to develop and maintain relationships with a variety of types of positions and individuals throughout the organization. + Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and the Internet. + Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations. **Working Conditions:** + Consistently operates computer and other office equipment. + Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. + Sedentary work. + Predominantly operates in an office environment. + Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. + The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
